Yesterday I went down to the tiny skate park near my house to get some action shots.
There was a family there - a father and two boys, each with their own BMX bike, and a younger boy taking pictures with a digital camera. The younger boy saw my camera and started asking questions of this stranger unashamedly, the way that young kids do. He told me he was from Queanbeyan where the skate parks where bigger, and those were his brothers and father.
I had to explain to him how my disposable film camera worked, that it didn't take film clips, that I could only take 27 shots ('daddy's camera takes as many as you want!' ) and that I couldn't look at them until after I sent them away to the camera shop, so I wouldn't know if I made a mistake.
He said, 'I've never seen a camera like that.'
I told him, 'It's an old-fashioned camera.'
Whoa. Times change.

Wish granted.
Actually, it's a good thing you reminded me, I'd forgotten about putting that pic up
That's the only one I've got at the moment - I'm not even going to attempt to take a photo through the glass until I clean the tank out. It really needs it
